OutLook TV started out as Prism, after the first Gay Games in Vancouver in 1990. OutLook TV has since been resurrected after going into retirement approximately 10 years ago.

In 2011, the GBLTTQQII community approached SHAW TV to cover the Out Games, which took place in Vancouver. The week long coverage was so successful it was decided then that OutLook TV would make a come back, relaunching the first show on Wednesday November 16th at 10:30pm 2011.

OutLook TV now airs on OUTtv and OUTtvGo as a Queer Magazine Show focusing on GLBTTQQII items.
